Probably because you are in a very small guild. Raids usually take less than a day.
For Rancor T7 (Heroic) : 10 min ~ 1 hour
For Tank (Normal/Heroic): 1 hour ~ 1 day
Raids last for certain amout of time, usually within that range I wrote, for most guilds.
