Well you won't get veers or do on a light side battle as you only get heroes your ally had as a leader when doing a light side battle. You get a random selection of your ally's leaders.
Wedge is best light side leader to borrow for earlier missions on light side. Maybe lando too. Perhaps gmyoda if you are running Jedi (some people find Jedi fun because they like Jedi but they aren't very good)
