As to your scoundrels did you clear the tier ii credit heist today? What I did was upgrade my team a bit between tiers and stockpile some gear so if they couldn't clear it I could upgrade them a little.
Boba's ship is very good and if you are a small spender there's a pack with 80 of his shards and 80 of his ship shards that becomes available when you hit level 80.
There's one video floating around of a gear xi seven star boba and 4 2 star gear 1 level 1 scoundrels clearing tier iv.
You need a pure empire team for the r2 event if that is a priority for you.
