Need help beating 7D hard mode

I beat with only 1 star with

7* T8 Captain Phasma (Leader)
7* T8 IG-86
6* T8 Old Daka
5* T7 Talia
4* T8 Count Dooku
7* T8 Darth Sidious (Borrowed Ally)

It is not easy. Also I made sure all my special abilities were available at the beginning of round 3, nothing on cooldown.

I got lucky recently and one of my allies started sharing a fully maxed HK.

Running him with the following team and I 3*d all of them, took a couple tries

Phas or Sid leader, 86, Dooku and Daka

86 gets to attack a lot with HK lead, that plus some good RNG every now and then with Dooku and Daka and I finally got them done

I can't seem to get 3* on 7D either. I have resolved myself to the fact that I need to finish strengthening my DS chars. I have 6* Daka, 6* Poggle, 5* GS (working him to 6) 6* Greedo (who the Devs ruined), 5* Talia, 6* IG86 amongst others. I haven't tried it since I got 86 to 6* but I doubt that is going to make a difference.

Those damn Clone Seargents have a lot of health, beat you down with that AOE, and must have a lot of tenacity too. I can't seem to get Daka's stun to stick very often. They usually wear me down in the second encounter so that I'm limping into the 3rd. I have tried it with Daka and Talia healing. That doesn't work. Daka by herself can't seem to keep everyone alive. I always seem to lose a toon.

I just farmed Anakin to 6* using only two nodes because I can't seem to 3* that one. There is valuable gear I need in that node too.

I'm also having trouble on this one. The weird thing is I have Sid up to lvl 70, 6*, glvl 8, and STILL I can't get a single debuff applied on the enemy. His healing debuff and AOE debuffs are ALWAYS resisted on all 3 stages.

Almost the same problem with Daka. Her stun is resisted 80-90% of the time. She's only lvl 66 so maybe that's the issue there?

Has anyone else had this problem?

Strangely, my lvl 68 Vader AOE debuffs apply with only some resistance, and even lvl 66 Talia's debuff applies without a problem. My lvl 70, 6* Phasma debuffs apply normally.

What gives? I really need 3*s on this stage so I can get Anakin up.

Wow, I must have got really lucky then. I did it 3 star with Phasma 7* (L), Dooku 6*, Vader 4*, Kylo 4*, Daka 5*, borrowed Sid 7*. Always kill the clones first. Their TM takedown will mess you up. Having at least one healer will make this much easier.

I beat that mission with HK-47, IG-86 and IG-88 maxed out, with a 4 star lvl 60 gear 6 Daka and 5 star gear 7 lvl 60 Talia, + maxed out Phasma borrowed Ally.

A bit of luck was innolved with the Daka stuns, but overall, once the droid crit train starts, the enemies get burnt down in a hurry. Just make sure all specials are available at the final round with all your team mates at green healt hand you have a decent chance of 3 starring DS 7D.

Thanks for the advice guys. I finally did it last night (3 stars) by getting my 4* Daka up to lvl 68. That allowed her stuns to work, and the rest was history. Of course, borrowing a 5.3k pwr IG-88 helped too. My squad was: lvl 70 6* Phasma, g7 (L) - lvl 70 6* Sid, g8 - lvl68 4* Vader, g7 - lvl 68 4* Daka, g8 - lvl 67 4* Talia, g8

And I think I figured out why Sid's debuffs never hit for me on that mission. His potency value is ZERO. Ugh... while Vader has 70% potency, Daka has 87%, and Talia has 110%!

not sure what's going on with my team. i can't beat it with 1* and i have 7* 75 Daka, 7* 75 Talia, 7* 76 Dooku, 7* 75 Sid, 7* 77 Phasma and borrow 7* random. i can barely get to 3rd round with my full team. the jedi's and clones destroy me in a couple of hits. it's like they're ranked 90 or something. the clones take out 10,000 with each shot. how are you beating this level?
