So poking around I’ve seen a lot of members really helping each other and sharing their swgoh.gg accounts looking for advise on where they should go and how they should make their galactic power stronger. What characters I should focus on upgrading for making a stronger Squad Arena team2. What characters would be be good upgrading for a stronger Guild team (lol I know Jyn is a good character and the R1 team) o:)PS I’m almost done upgrading my Empire team to get 7* R2 and almost done getting my 7* Old Ben so I can get CLS and I also need 12 more shards to unlock Jyn Erso

@TVF Hey We are here to help each other and that's awesome you being in the 200 and less in SA rank, but that's crazy that you haven't seen any AA (L) I guess they only do those leads whenever they have a solid squad to back him up cause he is kinda of squishy, but for me he's been treating me right. For me I'm in between 800-600 but surprisingly I only have less than 55K Squad GP so I'm pretty proud of myself :)@Liath Well I didn't mention I am as we speak recruiting members right now. I have about 11 invites pending and continuing whenever I encounter someone through Squad Arena battle or regular battlers through that ally thing. I meant I'll wait till I start recruiting hardcore like cause I just want to get only 85 members and then whenever if ever my guild gets full I'll have to kick out the lowest member with the lowest GP then invite others that are stronger. In a way i'm actually doing that now. Do you have a guild or are a member of a guild?

We're talking multiple millions in credits, thousands of guild currency, actually getting to run Territory Wars/Battles, dozens of high level gear pieces, and thousands of guild event currency, GK RHan ROLO & Probe Droid shards.....every single week. The longer you sit in a 6 person guild, the less events you get to participate in, and the slower your progression gets. It'll just continue to snowball, you're shooting yourself in the foot. Bite the bullet, hit up the Guild section and find a guild with 40+ members who can take you guys in. No farm suggestions can remotely compare to that.

It takes time and the people you find (from recruiting) to help you succeed and whenever you find someone else (someone with a higher GP) you disown the weakest link and focus your attention on who is stronger and build from there and repeat.This isn't true at all. We had almost a month heads up before guild update went live. The vast majority of guilds in the top 100 today hit the ground running with 45+ members, day 1. All the recruiting took place before guilds were implemented, and after that it was just replacing a few people over time who stop playing, ect. The desire to build a guild from scratch, while admirable, is completely unrealistic at this point in the game. Recruiting/retention of active growing players will be near impossible long term, the advantages of large guilds will prove too tempting and consistently lure away players you'll need to make progress on your goals; which will snowball onto other players moral. This isn't saying you shouldn't build up your guild, or continue playing the game how you'd like and find ejoyment from. It's not a criticism of your leadership or recruiting abilities either, the game simply isn't designed like that anymore; and your long term goal for your guild is very likely unrealistic. That being said, this is primarily a resource management game, and you've mentioned how much you enjoying playing and routinely runs out of things to do daily. I'm just sharing the information that there is 10x the resources and at least double the game content available if you so choose. In my humble opinion it is always better to be informed of all aspects of a decision, to have a better understanding of the trade-offs of such decision. This is all I am/was attempting to provide. Regardless, you've stated your view on the guild aspect, and I will attempt to refrain from suggestions guild related in your thread/s.

What do you mean by guild team? Are you talking about raids?

@Liath Yea guild related battles. Events and Raids. I know there’s two different sides of events but still

That’s not a problem with farming my Phoenix team. Like what I do now is I farm my Empire team first for example the royal guard and then the stormtrooper and whatever energy I have left after using my 5 battles I use the rest on bariss. So I’m going to do that same method with farming the Phoenix squad as my main first but I can see how the cantina battles can be a problem as you mentioned. As for as getting Stars in TB it’s mainly 2 for now :( like I can beat two different TB territories with one star on each

Everything is resource management. Every credit that goes into someone isn't going into someone else, every bit of extra energy spent starring Barriss is energy not spent getting gear for Empire/Phoenix.

One of my biggest early regrets which I still find myself doing far too often is spending far too much energy on character shards and not enough on gear. I have probably a dozen 7* lv1 g1 characters, who will likely never move from there because I can't justify the gear and credits.

@DedrickRogue Oh yeah, I understand what you mean. By the time I start farming for a level 7* Phoenix team, I will on the side start farming for gear because it would serve for both Squad Arena and the Guild in the long run.

That's the most important part, have a plan and make sure if you are deviating from it, it's for a clear purpose with a concrete reason. This game will throw constant shiney new distractions at you, when that happens reevaluate your long term goal, and go from there.

For example, I don't have JTR, Talzien, Chimaera or any levels/gear on RHan. When those events ran I was gearing up different squads, and couldn't justify abandoning my current goal(Phoenix & Troopers for TBs) to switch focus and chase the new characters.

Well said and so true. Every time I see a new event I would get upset that I’d missed it and build after that, but now seeing that these events are reoccurring I’ve stuck to my plan and will keep following despite the new shinier events.
