Anything below lvl 50-60 I would say stHan lead, talia, qui-gon, ig86, and royal guard or resistance trooper. However, upwards of lvl 50 -60 I would highly recommend working on some synergy for your characters. So either a leader that benefits all allies, or strictly one faction ie. Rebels, empire, resistance, etc.
