Negotiator dominates fleet arena
Few days ago I read someone discussing that Negotiator 5 stars was not so good..... But today I can see a full Negotiator ranking from 1st to 13th! Further, 17 of the top 20 and 20 of the top 30 are ...

On my shard we only have 3 negotiators (including mine). I ran mine yesterday and climbed to first pretty easily. I had 4 wins and 1 time out (but that was mostly me being slower due to being less familiar with the new kit.
Considering I'm easily beating ackbar teams with 100k more power and holding about the same (dropped to about 16) I think it is much wiser to focus on negotiator. For 2 reasons.
1. It will likely be the new meta and if you just keep building your ackbar fleet, you'll keep up for awile but eventually hit the point of kosing anyway.
2. The pilots are easier to gear and more useful. So many rebel ships require 3 pilots and only semi useful characters. I use anakin, fives, and ht as my starting lineup with plo, ahsoka, and ebon hawk as reinforcements (at least for now). That makes the only pilots to gear that aren't really that good elsewhere a s just plo and t3. And both have some uses elsewhere.
For the ackbar fleet you have the full pheonix squd minus ezra that you need geared but aren't that good. 3 to 6 rogue one characters depending on what u wings you use. And biggs and wedge. And of course ackbar himself. So potentially 12 to 15 so so characters to max ackbar vs 2 for negotiator. And with reworks that 2 could become less.
