I am beyond sick of seeing 80% of Squad Arena groups being a Phoenix group. With so many characters and possible squad combinations it shows just how broken it is.

Nope, just shows that your are a new player and about to develop a new squad . Phoenix is far from broken.

That will change in time. Once your shard matures, there wont be a phoenix character, besides Ezra, anywhere to be found.

Phoenix have very good ships late game, are useful in TB, TW and Sith Raid. They will disappear from arena soon though.Bastila might give Kanan some life. We will see.

I completely agree with this guy, Phoenix is way too OP for a f2p team, they basically never die and Ezra does a ton of dmg, he's the highest dmg Jedi in the game, Chopper always heals and Zeb just permastuns people.And while you're at it, give the Sith some love, Palpatine and Vader are basically useless characters which is ridiculous considering no one has ever heard of Phoenix unless they watch a kids cartoon, also Sion and Darth Nihilus could use a small buff, it's too easy to kill them, specially under a Traya lead.

Phoenix is actually trash outside of beginner shards lol

Only place they are good for now is TB and TW

Not true - they're also a strong team for Heroic Sith phase 2.

But yeah, for arena, they're the beginner team that gets phased out once your shard starts to get access to stronger teams. Would probably be nice if there were other beginner teams that were their equals for that period, but they're not OP by any stretch of the imagination.

This has to be a joke, right? Pheonix aren't good in arena. Even in early shards, I'd have to think Wiggs still crushes it.

Phoenix are great in the very earliest part of the game for ftp, up until you reach about lvl 60, actually

You're probably right. I'd say they are one of the most convenient synergy teams to build early, and are a stepping stone to get other characters. That's why they're run a lot. Because people who have been playing for like 2 weeks have them.

Don't worry, they go away pretty quickly. Phoenix Squad is a good team, useful for nearly everything in the game--but they're not even close to the best team for anything (other than getting Thrawn, for which they're the only team).
