New meta (rey)

I've been FTP for about a year now and hitting a wall with how long it takes to farm level 10+ gear much less special characters like Rey and the needed supporting team members. So my meta (DN, DV, CD, SiT, Chi) is based on what I can reasonably get FTP and it's nowhere near as good as what's being discussed. It's fascinating and impressive to me to read these forums and see the analytical minds that can calculate all of the variables to come up with an overall meta. Wish I could afford to PTP. I think FTP will eventually become boring with the length of time farming gear takes. But neither FTP nor PTP will give me the brainpower to calculate all of this as well as many others on here can. Thanks for the interesting reads.

I did gear her to g11. I did have problems against this team: Rex (l), DN (zeta), GK, Zolo, R2. Mod quality was about on par.
The problems I encountered:
- the expose only lands 70% of the Crit hits, whereas Rex TM gain works every time.
- Zolo plows through foresight.
- With DN zeta, debuffs become a problem because my guys only reduce their cooldown, when they have no debuffs.

I still think the main weakness of Jedi Rey is that you only have to kill one toon of the front three to cripple this team very severely.
That is why many people run her with CLS. He is just a team on his own and can turn the tide. Zolo is also a good third Option and I am curious as how b2 would fare

Or try a team with R2 pushing 290, BB8 also over 280 and a Poe at 287...not a picnic if you aren't using a proper team.

She's just as meta with Zetas and the right comp as any team. Hardly anyone had had time to build her team up yet. You'll see.

That's cause she's a whale / mod team that gets MUCH better the more whaley your mods are, so many, including people on my leaderboard with G12 RJT / BB8 / R2, etc. and proper zetas in place aren't very impressed. She seems ok. But if you have the mods to run it blazing fast it is a squad that benefits tremendously from blazing fast mod capability. While most builds do get better to some degree the faster they are, this one in particular gets better to an even greater degree because it has massive turn meter implications for them gaining and also the enemy losing.

Anybody with those mods is going to win, no matter what team they use.

Most people don't have her zetas, bb8's or an ideal comp. What team are you playing? How are your mods? There are no unbeatable teams anymore. I find NS the most ****, cheat mechanics...... They're cheap. But they have easy counters or kill order.

There has been and always will be cheap/cheesy teams. We had a meta with them almost a year ago..... Zeta Maul, DN, SA, +2 with most running DN and SA at low star level. Seems most were fine with those cheap/cheesy mechanics.
