BB8 is far too squishy to be viable in arena, and old ben is far too slow to be a lone tank. That team will be destroyed by the current meta on defence, given similar mods on each team. Rey won't change the meta one bit IMO. She seems completely underwhelming.
Having said that, I'm still going to try to unlock her, purely because I don't want to wait 5 months to get her. I'm at 48/100 and 69/100 on both vets. If I continue to place 1st everyday in ships and arena I should make it as long as my drop rate stays average.

The other thing about some of those vids is them repeating the company line of her being a defense God. Yet all they showed was how good she was on offense under control of a player.

Well good on offense under player control means 0 about defense.

Don't get me wrong I am happy players are finding a new comp to use but I will not be impressed till it is a full faction running. You can always find a mix of characters to win in offense epically using the cls R2 duo

Would have been cooler if her second ability inflicted a permanent expose, Resistance doesn't need to inflict healing immunity in my experience
Or a debuff that acts like expose and can be triggered multiple times, but deals less damage

I just saw a rey team score 20 mil in HAAT if that means anything

The healing immunity was for you to be able to take down zarris without having to run full resistance.

I think that she will bring new toons into the meta, but won’t take over the meta like CLS did. Either way, my nightsister team can eat through them so I’m happy.

Just no I've tried that squad and the top people in my arena squash it hard and it's not even good on offense against top CLS teams.

I'm trying her (G10, Zeta on leader) with GK, ZBarris, R2, Thrawn (dropped DN) and having success on offense. Of course I'll drop some overnight as my shard mates will want to take a shot and see how she does on D.

My mods aren't great and I still have to get used to the mechanics, learn the strategies vs. different teams but I'm not complaining nor crying "meta" yet. For those getting crushed, take an honest look at your team, their mods, gear and of course speed. Feel free to share and I'd bet a few here could quickly point out where you may be lacking ... besides using Rey.

She is better than you think. You need to use her with the right crowd and she destroys, takes turn meter, gets turn meter, get multiple hits, inflict multiple debuts.... plus you gear her up with the right mods and she’s tough plus she gets foresight... she is fantastic!!! I’m so happy for the investment. She’s a great addition to the team and awesome leadership abilities!!!!
