well, with cmdr luke as the only other hero's journey character, that was a reasonable expectation to have.
Personally i feel like it's a blessing in disguise. Alot of complaints obviously, but if she was as good as and as plug 'n play as cmdr luke there would be alot of complaints aswell and then some.
For the record, i'm going to unlock rey, so this comment isn't comming from a burthurt place.

Well, with cmdr luke being the only other hero's journey character, it was a reasonable expectation.
Personally i think it's a blessing in disguise. Sure, people will complain, but if she was as good and as plug 'n play as cmdr luke there would have been complaints aswell, and then some.
I'm going to unlock rey, so this isn't me trying to defend her being not that good because i'm not getting her.

So, if her kit was released before people started dropping $ on the vets do you think they would have continued to do so?

She, this time anyway, was a very hard to get toon. Hard as in it was hard watching money go down the drain. She should be exceptionally good being a Pay2Rey hero's journey toon. I've tried her with many, many squads since getting her to G12. Nothing holds up in a high end arena on a 2 year old server. Not with resistence. Not the BB8/R2/CLS/GK combo. Nothing I've tried. If I need to have +120 speed on everyone as well as other important stats boosted from mods sent down by Jehovah himself, I guess I'm out of luck.

So if we have to wait for some goldilocks toon to be released, well, lesson learned. Don't panic farm without knowing the kit. Never assume a character will be good.

I'm super curious what team we'll be able to plug her into that will be arena worthy on a 2 year old server. I've tried numerous combos since G12ing her including current resistance and nothing holds up. If we need to put +120 speed on the whole team as well as boost other important stats from mods sent down by God himself, I guess I'm out of luck.

She's a Pay2Rey Hero's Journey toon. She should be excellent now. Not whenever they release a toon that makes her work against well modded meta teams. We paid to get her now so she should work now.

To be honest on some shards you do need to have crazy fast mods no matter what team you run... or you need to run squads that buy you time such as gk zarriss or that use the ennemie’s speed against them suchbas rex...

I'm curious what you call arena worthy though. Isn't she able to beat similar modded teams on offence? Isn't any other team also getting beat consistandly on def?

In the arena I found a RJT team with 10k power more than my absolutely classic wedge team (Wiggs, Chaze, zR2). Her team was RJT (L), BB8, R2, CLS, Finn. They didn't even get past my toons' protection.
