Guilds are a sort of group where you work together to tackle certain things. E.g. raids, territory battles (TB), and territory wars (TW).

Raids are meant to earn gear and shards, TBs are a map where you fight to conquer as many zones as possible (unlocks at level 65), and TWs are a guild vs guild match where you deploy squads for the enemy to fight and the enemy deploys squads for you to fight and then you fight (also unlocks at level 65).
