Next steps

Well, I agree that´s a very personal choice. It may be difficult to say which is the most efficient way for me at the moment.
I think I´ll gear up CLS and Han (for raids and maybe for arena if I turn to Rebels+Rex), while preparing for Thrawn and Rey (both of them are top toons for raids too).

Absolutely impossible question to answer because the choice is solely yours. Particularly if you're not fussed about meta-chasing which is the only thing people can give you concrete guidance on.

But let's see...

You've got some really nice teams.

CLS, Leia, Han, R2 and Old Ben are a really good team...I've just started experimenting with a Rex lead dropping Leia (which is painful, she's been a trusted and respected warrior for me)...working well.

So, you're deiniftely going for Palp- which is a good choice. Forget concerns about chasing the meta - a good Palp-led Dark Side team will be of use for a year and longer. Having Nihilus and Shore would be a huge asset if you do want to go down the DS route.

So, there's two good teams to work on and farm hard - the Rex/CLS Rebel squad and the Palp DS squad.


I guess the next question is...who are the next biggies to be coming...well, Thrawn but you accept you won't get him this time around. Sooo...how bad you want him? If so, farm for him now regardless of when he's here. However...presumably we all can consider farming for BB8 or JTR right now as, presumably very roughly in around 6 months, they might be making an appearance. Do you want them? If so you know what to start doing - now.

The game is all about choices...what do you want to do? Personally, I've given up meta-chasing. I farm what I want, when I want. I think meta-chasing as a f2p player is, essentially, very frustrating and morale-destroying. It's a game, it should be enjoyed. When you're not enjoying it then you're doing something wrong. Do what you want - farm who you like, when you like. And, the way the game works, eventually your squads will be needed and you'll get the rewards relatively easily- no panic-farming required. Of course this means that you will not get things first, second or maybe even third time around. But you'll get them on the fourth. For a game I don't pay for, I can definitely live with that.

And, yes, looking towards Thrawn and JTR fr the future. Again, will only serve you well.
