Nihilus unique zeta worth it?

Since DN is one of my core toons for arena besides GK I zetad his unique a while ago. Never regreted it even though it gets nullified due to Rex/Chirrut here and there.

He's a core toon for me as well... never zeta'd him and don't regret the decision. I'm with OP... with all the cleansing teams, it barely seems worth it. If zetas become more available, I'll probably do it eventually.

I don't know about teams with Rex, but consider that if they only have Chirrut, any character that goes before he can throw tenacity up (including Chirrut himself) will get a hot instead of t-up.

I did DN unique and I don't regret. Tho I run a Zader squad.
Vs faster Rex and Chirrut it forces them to use T-up on first move. Since you don't need to rely on debuffs this can be good to you and will make your Baze goes really fast.
IMHO It's a very good overall quality Zeta.

I started and led with zader, then zaul, then Rex, but hated how 65% number 1 teams used my Rex sqaud and a while ago i mistakenly zetaed DN lead and thought I try it and since it's been really good. There are few server ppl I chat with and they say it's pretty good too how my sqaud is the hardest to face in the top 5 when we have a mix of Rex, zaul, and zQGJ and few started following me.

It was my second zeta after zaul, it's useful once in awhile but isn't game changing. Going back, I would prob made it my 5-6th zeta but in your team makeup it's either DN or a leader for a raid team.

The best benefit is against DN led teams and if you run SA/SiT because it amplifies their "ignore protection" abilities when it's early and game changing vs later when toons are almost dead anyway.

On a triple cleanse team it will help DN's force drain and going against GK it prevents retribution while giving them no opposite buff.

I think it's underrated. I don't have it myself. But when I face it, it can be scary. Go against a Nihilus with his unique zeta and a Sith assassin who uses her special and she can 1 shot a few toons. And if nothing else, she at least get you close to dead real quick.

I know it's only GW and it's a bit different, but one of the tougher teams I face there is

Zader
Nihilus (unique zeta)
Baze
R2 double zeta
GK

R2 hits pretty hard himself. And with Nihilus having his unique, it makes a big difference when having to face him. Less health, burning, DoTs and couple hits from R2 and your done.

In arena some of the tougher battles I've faced with a Nihilus unique zeta are

Boba
Chaze
Nihilus
R2 double zeta

Extra crit damage from Boba, less health from Nihilus, burning from R2, power hits from Chirrut. That's a team I have a hard time beating.

Rex
Chaze
R2
Nihilus

Some have GK mixed in there as well which can be tough. But you get the point. I use Nihilus myself, but just haven't invested in a zeta for him yet. Depending what happens with Thrawn will depend what I do with my zetas as well.

I almost felt like I wasted my 4th zeta upgrade when I put it on DN's unique, then I used him a few times and realized that it was a huge upgrade to my whole team! I do not regret spending those zetas on this ability at all! Sure, the health down can be dispelled, but he can pop it back onto them when his turn comes around again, and its passive so you don't have to use an attack to make it happen! If you want to use DN in your squad, this zeta will not let you down.
