Nilihus zeta any good vs geos?

I use Traya lead, sion, nilihus, sith trooper and thrawn to beat geos in TW and GAC. I know traya lead helps them kill themselves but...

Would nilihus unique zeta help kill them off quicker as it applies damage over time effects?

Just want to kill the bugs without taking too much damage

  • Sion's zeta helps, as those that damage him will gain Pain and have to keep attacking him, unless they resist. But even if Traya were to die he'd still win in the right circumstances. Fewer banners if she dies, though.

Is the only zeta necessary for the Traya/Sion Geo counter Traya's lead?

sion's and Lord of Betrayal for traya too I'd say

rtt: 20% health down per turn vs a geo team seems pretty good. I had it from before so idk about how it would be without

The debuff cleanse from Lord of Betrayal can be clutch.
  • The main point of Nihilus' zeta was forcing debuffs onto the opponent so when he did his drain AoE he had a better chance of lowering his annihilate cooldown. Since you're not necessarily relying on it for that reason against bugs it's not really necessary
  • Nihilus has the rare honor of having not one, but two thoroughly "meh" zetas. Good thing he's still great without either.

Right. I use Nihilus nowadays mainly with Palp and BSF as Grievous counter. For Geos, Traya and Sion can get the job done on their own.

Only if they’re modded and geared properly for the bugs they face. If not, then they need help from the likes of DN and others.
