Old Ben is useless!
I have him 7 star, gear 9 and I'm done trying with him. Others in my guild want him and I try ed warning what a waste he is. Am I useing him wrong? Please don't say "when you max his gear lvl star ...

Add as much speed as you can get and potency. Is fun to see him go first or second after Rey and take 60% TM from the other team. Plus block. Plus damage reduction. Is like fighting a low level team. I finish first most of the time on a November server. And old Ben is my secret weapon.
OB leader. Rey. Qgj. Rg. And Han. My Rey goes first. Then maybe opponent Rey. Then my good ol ben. Han gives TM. Qgj hopefully calls assist either Rey and kills someone or rg and stuns someone. Then Rey kills.
By this point the other team starts hitting like a wet noodle a few times. My next turn qgj removes taunt from Royal guard. If the team doesn't have a Royal guard my Rey will just pick them one by one with qgj finishing off whatever Rey can't one shot.
By the time old Ben debuffs ran off the other team has 2 or 3 toons left if they are lucky. At this point I just auto atack
