They're both amazing imo but his first should definitely be devoted protector. You'll start banging your head against the computer every time his taunt is insta gibbed by Fracture or the even more annoying DN basic attack.

Yep, Devoted Protector, for sure. I've not ever bothered with his second one, but this one is invaluable.
