It's sort of useful. If you have a death you can intentionally not res them and use basics to proc it like crazy (and for loads of turn meter) in convenient situations. Deathstorm is also still viable in STR as well. Definitely not as useful or easy to use though, would really depend on what other options you have for zeta.
The revive is not caused by OD's zeta, but by MT's zetaed lead. OD's zeta gives her a stacking health bonus, which is less usefull in arena, but still quite usefull in raids, where battles are longer, more revives occur and hence the health stacks much higher. The impact on an arena team is neglectible, however.
