Old player back after 2 years
I am back after two years, and I do not know how much has changed. In am in a server when games was launch initially. Should I restart or invest in the existing account. I am level 85 and holding 500 ...

Coming back after a long hiatus? Here's a quick refresher on where the game is at today:
1. Mace Windu rework made him MUCH better than he was before.
2. There's a new mechanic called "Relics" that makes characters better at what they already do. Wedge and Biggs are especially good now with Relics.
3. Oh by the way, you need to get these Relics on Rose Tico to participate in the events for new characters...don't listen to people on the forums - it's totally worth it.
4. When the Tusken Brute comes out, Tuskens are expected to be the next meta. Farm tuskens just in case and you'll be ahead of the curve.
5. There most definitely is NOT a character in the game right now that attacks twice every turn ignoring defense, increases enemy cooldowns, prevents revives, cannot be killed until everyone else in the squad is killed, dispels all debuffs on themselves, cannot be critically hit, and counters 100% of the time.
6. Make sure you don't use training droids willy-nilly. The higher level your account gets, the harder they are to come by.
7. If you're holding rank 500 now, you should have no problem climbing back into the top 10/20 in short time (see #5).
8. Fleet arena is a great place to climb and earn crystals. There's such a diverse meta with all the capital ships in the game that as long as you do your 5 battles daily, you'll get top 10/20.
9. Jedi Knight Revan and Darth Revan were meta once, but they are so easily countered now that they really aren't worth the farms. Instead, Phoenix is a great catch-all team still that contributes to all game modes.
10. If you're going to join a guild, be sure to farm the characters that help with raids ASAP. Aurra Sing and Young Han Solo fill this role well.
