CLS over Padmé, there’s nothing she can do that JKR can’t do better, and CLS can solo pit and is a key toon for HAAT solo and p3 HSTR solo. For what it’s worth, there are a couple CLS squads in my top 50, along with a couple JKRs, and the rest are DR+Malak. No Padmé teams, the one time I saw a Padmé team on defense I took it out in about 15 seconds with DR (no Malak). You may have success against dumb AI handling defenses, but she’s way to slow against either Revan (her Zeta still doesn’t block DR’s fear since it’s irresistible, so unless you go first it’s gonna be a quick party wipe). CLS actually has a chance since Han gets a guaranteed first turn.
Wow, everything you just said was just wrong lol.
He said cls can solo pit, HAAT and p3 HSTR solo.
He said there are a couple cls in his top 50.
He said CLS has a chance vs Revans.
He said CLS smoked a Padmé team.
He said Padmé zeta doesn't stop DR fear
Everything he just said was wrong?
I could have sworn I used a CLS to solo a bunch of raids and beat a bunch of Revans.
He said she's too slow and she can't resist fear.
He said CLS actually has a chance since Han gets a guarenteed first turn. (Its also counts as an attack out of turn so won't dent anyone.)
Enough said
I think you misunderstood.
Her being too slow was in reference to her fighting against JKR (who gives his entire team +40 speed and doesn’t prevent GMY from gaining TM).
I also didn’t say she couldn’t resist fear (she is actually immune to it, which is different, and that ability is not a zeta), I said her Zeta won’t apply to DR’s fear since it’s irresistible (her lead zeta makes it so her allies resist all debuffs with protection up).
CLS having a chance to take a turn was also in reference to a JKR defense. CLS’ lead allows TM gain when an enemy resists a debuff, so to compensate for being outsped you use your opening volley on Jolee, with the goal of him resisting 3x expose (from 3PO’s unique), allowing you to take a turn before you get marked by JKR, which can be used in several ways depending on your team makeup. I have yet to hear of a reliable way for Padme to defeat JKR (though it may be out there).
I was not at all trying to say that a CLS team would be a good counter to Padme. There are a lot of other teams out there that would probably be better (like traya). My point was that CLS had more game-wife utility, could more consistently take out JKR, and that JKR was a better lead for Jedi than Padme (and a lot easier to obtain).
