Hey guys, especially made this account for this topic.In the very beginning I simply ran my best toons in the Arena, but that quickly became very difficult to win, so I then followed every good advice I got: farm Phoenix like crazy.Now I'm at lvl 78 and run a full 7 star Phoenix team (except that wretched Sabine) equipped up to my lvl.At first I began to win again and climbed up to rank 500 again, but lately I can't seem to win any battles anymore. All I encounter are teams with (a lot) more force points than myself, full Sith teams with Palpatines or teams with either Old Ben, Chirrut, Kylo Ren Unmasked or other pests. I Always try to avoid those. Even the Nightsister teams that I used to crush have now become very hard.Am I doing something wrong? Everyone keeps shouting Phoenix, but every team I come across seems to hard. I also heard something about "harder" and "easier" Arena groups? A friend of mine keeps hovering in the top 100, while his team has never been as good as mine. I never got to rank 400 before.

7* Phoenix team, that can't stay in top—500? That sounds like your team is either under—geared or poorly modded. Even though Phoenix can't compete in end—game top arena, they should still be able to do better than rank 500. How is your gear and mods compared to your opponents? Make sure that your guild raids often and do heroic tier raids (at least heroic pit raids — preferably heroic tank raids as well) to get gear. And if your mods are lacking you should spend some ressources farming/buying better mods. Good mods are a huge advantage over mediocre mods.However, even with good gear and mods Phoenix will struggle against several team compositions, f.ex.:Phoenix will make the eneny Vader ridiculously fast since they are 5 rebels and 2 jedi. You will struggle against EP lead Vader (Sith/empire) teams.Phoenix don't have enough debuffs/AoE to handle NS teams.You won't ever be able to just have a single arena team and stay in top forever. The META changes, and you need to change with it, if you want to stay competitive. In top—20, you will need to be on par with the changing METAs. at your rank (top—500) it will be a bit less stressfull — even though you will have to develop your team/roster just like your opponents do.

It's just Palpa/Vader, their rework basically gave everyone a complete counter to all the other teams, Nightsisters, Rebels, Jedi, they all fall to Palpa. Apparently the only counter to Palpa is Rex with Wampa + a bunch of legendaries which for new players like you and me it's obviously not feasible, best advice is to literally join the dark side and go palpa as well..

You're always chasing the carrot in this game. When/if you catch the carrot, a better carrot shows up. Once in a while you get lucky and find you already had the carrot, but that's rare.The most important part is to decide which carrot you want and only chase that one; you get nowhere chasing them all.Phoenix Squadron (PS) got hit pretty hard by the recent Palpenvader rework. Still a highly valuable starter squad though. Your decision now is to choose a new carrot. Chase the new Sith meta or find a faction that has the potential to become the next big thing. Maybe just pick one you like for fun.What do you think will be the counter to the new Sith and New Rey squads? I'm lvl 77 and have been been around rank 20 the whole time with my Phoenix team. I have a ton of speed on my toons and that's how I survive. Save your cleanse to remove enemy taunts and the speed will help you take out a nasty character like EP etc. I have to gem 50 once in a while to stay under 20 but otherwise surviving.

It's time to move on though... I've been building my empire team which is also good for other events. I think it's finally time to let them rest...

Really? Im talking about phase 2. I tried them phase 1 and they just regenned his protections because of all of the counters.

Phoenix is beyond solid in any part of Sith raid that doesn’t involve DN.

Yeah I agree. I dont have JTR and they and Thrawn/magma are my best two teams.

Zeta'd?

I just can't imagine them doing anywhere near enough damage, regardless of them getting to enrage with full health/prot, but then again I've never tried them and I have no zetas.

No zetas but we only do T4. But they do 50 to 100% more than my other teams on that phase. Take out chopper and use Ezra and Sabine and Darksaber everytime it is up. Dont ever clean the debuff from anyone but Kanan. They get the massive offense boost from the big one.

We do T4 as well. How much damage are you doing with them in P2?

1.5M last time. Zeb and Ezra are g8. Everyone else is g9. No zetas.

Edit: @TVF Did 900k in p3 and 950k in P4. Now that I think about it might be better to swap out zeb for Chop in p3 and 4 because Traya. I have not tested it yet though.
FYI I fed all assists to Sabine and my Sabine is modded for 211% Crit damage and Ezra has 186%.

However DN is involved in 2 of the four parts of the Sith raid, so Phoenix is garbage in half of the Sith raid.

They work in P2, 3 and p4 after DN is dead. They are not JTR but they are not garbage.
