I'm lvl 77 and have been been around rank 20 the whole time with my Phoenix team. I have a ton of speed on my toons and that's how I survive. Save your cleanse to remove enemy taunts and the speed will help you take out a nasty character like EP etc. I have to gem 50 once in a while to stay under 20 but otherwise surviving.
It's time to move on though... I've been building my empire team which is also good for other events. I think it's finally time to let them rest...
