Phoenix Squad help

So i have a full 7* Phoenix squad, Ezra is the one i left out. Was just wondering if they get any stronger beyond gear 8? Really fun squad to use they just don't hit very hard. Is it worth investing g...

Ezra is a monster. Definitely gear him and you can easily slot him into a Jedi team since he's one of the best Jedi available.
