Plo or Sarge

Question

So I dropped the money to get Cody while his drop rate is high. I have him at 7* and in the process got Echo to 5* and Anakin to 5*.

I will be running Ani lead with Echo, Cody, and Fives for sure. That leaves one spot (which I'd love to fill with Rex, but I don't have him, nor do I have the money to try to farm him) and I have 3* Plo Koon and 4* Sarge.

The question I have is should I farm Plo out of cantina battles or Sarge out of hard modes? On one hand, Plo seems stronger, but slows my farming for Ani. On the other hand, while Sarge seems fairly weak, his synergy with the other clones seems like it might make him more viable (with four clones on the team, Cody allows the entire team to attack at once), but he's also a really slow farm.

I should mention I'm not very concerned about arena viability. My shard isn't that competitive. I currently maintain top 10 with a Nightsister team. I just want advice on maximizing my potential for this team with what I have. I just really like clones :)

Sarge sarge sarge, easily one of the top 3 reliable dps and clones need that, at max gear & stars mine hits 8k crits without his offence buff and 12-14k once it's up. Plus his aoe crits 8-10k as well with the TM reduce you can send a whole team back half a turn. He needs to have omega on basic and passive to really be standout but he's easily the best option. Just because plo says clones in his abilities dosent actually make him a great spot. If you lack Rex I think the squad you should try for is

And Royal Gaurd
This will give you excellent damage with the tank for backup and with echo when a clone goes low to trigger RGs taunt it's pretty common to get them back over 50% with the heal and trigger him again.
I'd recommend against plo in general but I can't recommend sarge enough, he's crazy in raids too

Especially when it's ran by incompetent 2 year olds.  Anyway, why not do both and try them both out.  Yes, CS will be a longer farm, but it will give you something to aim for in the long run.  They're both completely different characters, but it think a clone team needs all the dps it can get; making CS the better choice.

I've been running clones from the start, I've tried a lot of combos in arena and I never dropped as fast as when I left plo in for a day or 2. He's a good character but he takes up a precious slot on a team that needs every synergy point or weakness covered it can, if you don't use the slot for a clone you'd better use it for someone to protect them, that's RG, ST Han, or Sun Fac, anyone else it's too easy to focus echo and sarge and then you're pretty Much toast. Unless your 5s has 80k hp and crits for 7000 on counter ;) mine can solo the first 5 nodes of GW XD
