Poggle or Lumi , Han or IG88, Poe or FOO... others?

** questions are to better my PvP squad. I clear GW everyday***

So I'm almost done 7* my phasma

was going to do Lumi next

but so many seem to say Poggle is a beast

My current PvP squad is this:

Phasma leader
Sid 6* almsot 7
Rey 5*
Dooku 4*
JC 7* (was going to do Lumi to replaxe him)


So basically it's hard to "start over" so got to run with what I got. What do y'all suggest I try to farm in the future?

Working on Kylo in Cantina (man his drop rate is so much less then JC's lol)

Working on Daka too, once done was debating between Poe or FOO

Almost done Sid, so was gonna work on either Han or IG88


thoughts on all of this? thanks in advance :)

    I have Lumi, just not leveled up. I pass GW with ease as is.

    Forgot to mention, I want to better compete in PvP

    I'm top 15, but I use to be easily Top 10 (even too 5 some days), but I'm having a hard time as the days go by. Those droid and Poe teams are hard to beat.

    Funny...I have waaaay better drop rates in cantina farming Kylo than I did when the JC.

    well maybe my luck will turn around then, or maybe I was just really lucky with JC

    I am satisfied the rate is the same for every char, but we do such a small sample size each day that some chars "feel" lucky/unlucky. I went 0-12 on FOTP today....

    Yeah for sure it's hard to calculate on individuals.

    But just seemed my JC went super fast. I started him way after Sid and Phasma (like a dummy I was leveling chewie at first lol...)

    So been on Kylo's case for a week now (maybe less?) And only 30 shards. I think I got my 100 JC shards in one week when I leveled him from 6 to 7. (yes I did farm him also in light and dark side battles, but still, a huge difference in shards)

    Poe over FOO:
    Both have First Order synergies, but Poe is tops. So many people say he's OP and should be nerfed, but others - like myself - think he's balanced enough. You might think to avoid him just in case he actually does get nerfed. I wouldn't worry. This is a bandwagon you want to jump on! FOO looks fantastic... on paper. Personally, he's never given me any problems in Squad Arena.

    Han over IG-88:
    For the same reasons as Poe and Lumi. Han gives you turns, more versatile/synergies all-around. IG-88 is a powerful blaster, but unless you're building a Droid team, but him on the back-burner for now.


    Poggle works in most teams, his offense up buff is really good. He works best with droids not GS.
    Poe has no first order synergies, he is Resistance.
    Han is the poor mans Poe, he´s slower than poe and has less health. And if you´re already farming Poe there´s no need for Han. IG88 doesn´t only work in droid teams, all his abilities don´t improve when you add droids. Ig88 works extremely well in crit and AOE teams.

    @LordStyling You should think about what kind of squad you want in the future and build towards that. If you can finish GW without lumi, you dont really need her although she is pretty good.

    that's a good question

    I'm not sure. But I'd love to build around my Phasma and eventual Kylo. I love her abilities and Kylo seems fun as well

    Stap! Don't go for lumi. Poggle is a huge boost and has better synergy with your current squad. Replace JC to with poggle. You want to kill their glass cannons before they act.

    With pog's buff dooku hits HARD. Phasma's assists are more powerful. Sid's AoE forces the other team to heal when buffed.

    More importantly, he speeds up Rey's combo. If poggle goes first and buffs, Rey starts the battle using her third skill and one shots someone, if she goes first, she uses the second skill for a guaranteed dodge, while poggle provides the offense up buff she would get by herself.

    Poe on the opponent side might beat your characters up a bit, but if they survive, you can win.
