Prime vs Trial (Beta) gaming
I have noticed several differences in all game modes on quality of characters (toons). Most notably in arena game modes. So my question is... does SWGOH mix Beta players (test players) with prime play...

I also don’t know why you keep talking about “shiny gold mods.” The stats on the mods are much more important than their color.
To follow up with an answer...Im not an expert on mods but the mods I use while I learn them are recommended and then fully completed to maximize my understanding, and the effectiveness of them. If I had the time and funds I would do this to all of them then trial and error untill I figured them out. So I may have the inferior mods.
