Profundity Owners: Q re: Event minimum gear level for non-requirements

So I've got everything required to unlock ProFun tomorrow. After watching several video guides to the event, it seems like both Cassian and Ghost are relied upon heavily either in front line or reinforcement in the event. My K-2S0 is only G9, and my Kanan and Zeb are both G8. I don't mind investing in K2 more (as I will ultimately relic him for RO team), but will wait on that if possible (currently farming for Jabba also). I don't want to dump gear into Kanan and Zeb unnecessarily.. Some guides say G8 on those 2 for Ghost are sufficient for the event. Wanted to see what people who unlocked it thought- what gear were your other 2 Ghost pilots? Is it doable with G8 on them? Do I need to bump up K2 above G9 for the event? Any advice would be appreciated!
