PVP No Brainers

A fruitful day to all & may the force be with you.

I was playing swogh today & I realized that in PVP events Such As TW GW & GA when the leader is defeated when you rebattke the team even if you have another leader in the second slot (say Palpatine as leader, vader Nihilus etc as Support) thier leadership ability doesn't activate it still acts as if there is no leader. I don't understand why to me its no Brainer. This shouldn't be when a team loses it leader in a battle, when they are engaged in another battle after that if the Toon in the 2nd slot is a leader it should activate it will make things more interesting & battling in PVP will be much more Diverse & Realistic. Naturally In Battles When A Leader Dies A New One Steps In To Take His Place That Position Isn't Left Open.

SUPPORT SHOULD MAKE THE SECOND ALOT AN AUXILIARY LEADERS SLOT FOR WHEN SUCH SITUATIONS OCCUR.

I Feel it's something that should have been included in the game a long time ago even guild Leaders can't leave without selecting a new guild leader so why is it different in the game. Criticism & Other Ideas & suggestions are welcome thanks for taking time to read

  • He means if you kill the leader in attempt #1 then on a subsequent attempt another character with a leadership would become leader, and so on. Eg traya>palp>nihilus

Personally I'm not a fan, it would create strange unwanted, situations, and how would it decide who takes over? In a bounty hunter team there could be a bunch of choices for example. If it worked like that, would it not make bh stronger than before, compared to others, not only do they have backup leaders but they'd get multiple payouts? Just seems messy so maybe best to keep as is imo.

Plus, such a mechanic would give a huge disadvantage to squads who only have one leader, e.g. scoundrel teams or Phoenix.
  • Are you saying you go into battle with no one in the leader slot? Sorry I'm a bit confused about the wording here...

It's just gonna be a 1 Leader in leader slot then the subsequent leader must be in th 2nd slot not just a random selection
