Question regarding GMY bonus turn from Masterstroke

The mechanics say "Grand Master Yoda gains an immediate bonus turn as long as there is one other living Jedi ally." Does this trump another character from going in between Masterstroke and the bonus ...

Fun fact:

Frenzy text: "unit gains 100% turn meter"
Frenzy mechanic: add 100% turn meter to unit, subtract 1% from all other units
Frenzy behavior: unit gets bonus turn

Masterstroke text: "gains an immediate bonus turn"
Masterstroke mechanic: add 100% turn meter to unit
Masterstroke behavior: unit may get a bonus turn if no other units are at 100% TM or if the unit winds a coin toss against other units at 100% TM
