Question regarding GMY bonus turn from Masterstroke

The mechanics say "Grand Master Yoda gains an immediate bonus turn as long as there is one other living Jedi ally." Does this trump another character from going in between Masterstroke and the bonus ...

There are posts somewhere. Gmy was one of the few who was guaranteed the next turn, but then they eventually changed thrawns tm swap to do it too.
