Occam’s razor suggests the most likely situation is he did use a GL and misled you.

In most other situations I’d agree, but this game isn’t exactly known for being bug free. I’m no longer surprised when game destroying bugs are discovered, no matter how many experience it.
The easiest explanation may very well be that the omicron is bugged under certain conditions, and that OP’s opponent is telling the truth.

There really is not enough information here. Gear level, defense, mods, crit vs. not all make a difference. Someone posted before thinking that they weren't getting enough offense, but doing the math, it all worked out. Keep in mind that QG doesn't add the crit chance that Revan lead does. So you may have some Jedi that have lower crit chance than you may have realized before. So doing half damage from non-crits can really impact your perception.

I guess you can close this discussion post. What the opponent said was not truly what happened. And I don’t want this to mislead anyone who doesn’t read the full thread.
