R2 smoke screen

I think using smoke first is a great design actually. it makes enemy focus fire on pretaunter first turn, if they don't have AOE dispeller or plo koon lead

If he uses burning first, then enemy can choose who to attack more easily and that is bad on defense

Im not against him using it, but it could be balanced. Since gw got easy I've been doing gw on auto and watching the ai control toons.
Smoke screen 90% of the time.
No wonder resistantance can't win on defense.
R2, one if the best toons in the game is doing nothing, 3 or 4 toons already have stealth and smoke screen again.

Smoke screen or for that matter any ability that focuses the enemy to a certain target is always priority because it usually is the best/is the best option for defence which again seems to take priority. However is this case I agree this is puzzling.

Seems to me abilities should be done in turns.
Other abilities have opposite problem.
They never get used.
Would be simple allow players to prioritize toon abilities

Kind of the same issue with zylo. He's fantastic... if you're controlling him. On AI defense, all he does is Lash Out because his cooldowns reset, which pretty much negates his zeta and doesn't allow him to survive as he should. I never have him in my arena squad cuz he's useless on defense

Cooldown is the problem the ai works on assumption that abilities will get turns due to waiting on cooldown but when cd are reduced the ai goes back to beginning, it's a loop, should be some way to fix this.
Healers are not used properly either.

Not only is R2 protected from counterattacks when he's stealthed, but at least 3 more allies also are (as long as they're not taunting, buff blocked, etc). Stealthed attackers don't provoke any counterattacks at all, so a counterattack won't even be directed at the tank if the initial attacker was stealthed.

But used every turn is overkill and makes r2 1 dimensional when he is not

Its what the above statement says. Under Resistance R2 (like the others) has his CDs reduced/reset. R2 is used in almost all top arena teams. However, hes not used under ZFinn, he is used under others. So he typically uses Smoke Screen 99% off the bat. He will then AoE and basic attack until CD expires. Its simple AI logic. Thats why defense doesnt win much unless their gear/mod superiority to you.
