Once, when we were no where near to being able to solo more than 1 phase we had the following rule:
The first 24hrs it was only allowed to battle in phases 1 through 3.
Phase 4 was not available until after the first 24hrs
The first 24hrs we allowed each member only 1 battle.
Noone was allowed to complete their battle until 20 minutes after the raid started.
Yes, those rules are a bit more complicated, but maybr they could motivate people to not just do the zero dmg, but actually contribute to killing Rancoe.
