Moral of the story:
If you're fighting a "different" squad, look at their mods before assuming you can take them with trash teams. Also, don't use JTR with R2 and BB8 against significantly higher gear opponents--they have no damage output. JTR, BB8, Finn would be a much better solution. Pushback/ab block/stun boba, ignore savage, kill Sidious (all that extra health will make him easier to kill with exposes). After Sidious, keep boba locked up, apply healing immunity to Savage before taking him out. Finish with Boba.
*Note: this won't work if you are slower than them. JTR/BB8 should have close to 300 speed to be competitive against relics and their likely mods. If they have better gear and better mods than you, you probably won't win with any team you throw at them that isn't a hard counter.
