Haven't played for probably about 2 years. Any characters I should prioritise? Have wedge, Biggs, STHan, Lando and qui gonn all maxed as my primary team... With Leia, ackbar, cad bane, Yoda and a coup...

Of course you can. The daily income with a low arena rank will be about 150 crystals on average. That's 3 energy refreshes. At OP's level it's enough to have a bit of fun.
When I say you have 15 characters, I mean 15 characters at mid-gear(g10/g11) which is definitely not enough.
Not enough for what? If it's enough for the OP to have a fun game, it's enough.
I don't count characters that are simply unlocked and sit at g1-g6 and at 3 or 4 stars. Believe me when I tell you, that the time you will spend catching up with this account, will be 100 times more, than with starting over.
I caught up to rank 20ish in squad arena and top ranks in fleet arena with a worse roster than OP's with an alt account, that was cryoed for 14 months at level 35. Yes, it took some time, but it was a fun and different experience.
In the end all that matters is, whether OP has fun playing his current/old account, and it seems like he does.
