Having some difficulty fighting teams running Royal guard, specifically a guy usually #1 on my server runs Rex lead, Rey, GS, qgj, Royal guard even though I got lucky and took #1 today I struggle agai...

But one way to work around the taunt of royal guard is to bring poggle, whose offense up buff can help gs/86 one shot targets with their special. My team is Phasma lead+ poggle, poe, 86, GS. I deliberately use my GS to normal attack my opponent's dps, then Phasma's victory march will give my GS another turn. GS's normal attack is followed by a buffed up assist attack from 86. This will kill one dps. The 2nd round GS can nearly kill RG with an assist attack. Just one more scratch and he dies.
I just tried this team, and it's pretty potent. Nice strategy!
Added a video as well. I'm not a super low rank, and I have some work to do, but it's a very viable team on my server. I think this is my new team moving forward. I could also sub Poggle as the leader as well.
