Are you at least refreshing the normal energy 3x a day? I honestly don't understand how you can have been pushing for a GL since they were released and not have one.
I once saw someone give the "advice" to farm characters by doing them 1 sim at a time, then stop after you got one shard because they believed the overlords were limiting you to one shard per day. Not all advice is equal.
I have been collecting energy refreshes 3X a day. Even without refreshes I still get something. It could come down to farming for JRevan and wasting a bunch of time on that.
