See lead vs bastilla mechanics

Typically this goes off without a hitch, but sometimes, like this one here, the damage seems to just stall out. You can see I get to around 45k basics and it just seems to stall.

Just wondering what causes that vs the standard where I’m typically at 70k basics before I pop ultimate. Any linked or deceived enemy that uses an ability is 10% mastery stack for see, so there should be no stall as far as I can tell, and typically there isn’t.

Any ideas or tips?

    Bastilla lead vs see is basically a timeout. Your looking at finding a better counter mate

    JKL's basic reduces crit damage by 10% stacking every time. Is that why your damage isn't increasing as much as you think it should with stacking Mastery?

    I have slk as well so that’s not an issue, but typically see is VERY reliable against bastilla lead with that strat. Just trying to figure out the few cases it fails, and why to avoid it in those instances.

    That’s probably it then, I don’t have jkl so don’t know his kit at all really. But typically it is a gas instead of jkl, it’s gotta be that crit dmg reduction. Good catch and thanks!

    Consider yourself lucky, most of these I see (including when I set it) use both GAS and JKL. Hoda is the worst comp imo.

    Yeah most are swapping to that these days which again I just use slk, but I was sick of winning majority and then suddenly losing seemingly randomly with see. Wanted to know why, so I can avoid that lol.
