Shard Requirement To Unlock Related To Character Strength?
Are the characters that require 80 shards to unlock more viable/powerful/useful than characters that cost 10/25/50? Or is it just randomized?

Capgasp said recently that it's roughly based on the character's importance, or something, so generics generally have a lower star unlock and main characters have higher. But that doesn't necessarily correspond to how good they actually are in the game.
