With only 5 battles per day plus the fact every new character will need those pieces and that we also need energy to farm characters shards and it will likely take months to farm those gears even with 3 refreshes per day. So that is not really a viable option.

Unless those new gear pieces become available on this new store/ new arena mode I suspect this will turn to be a even worse bottleneck than stun cuffs, stun guns and carbantis.

Aren’t they on normal nodes? So no need to refresh?

You need to refresh your energy otherwise your looking at only a couple pieces a day.

It's farmable yes but how long would it take to collect 200 of these without refreshing energy? 4 months? for 1 character to g11 by then any meta use that character had is gone or going away...

If only there was some new game content coming out soon. Maybe a new TB or some kind of grand arena championship. Then they could reward the new gear there.

Technically your both right. Kyno yes they are farmable.

However... they require crystals to farm!!! the only way you can really get the gear is with crystals in the shop or spending refresh after refresh.

If your just doing the 5, 10 a day trying to farm them without crystals your getting 3 pieces with good rng. So to gear up 1 character like shark tea that's 2 months without spending crystals.

if every new character requires this new gear I'd imagine people will lose interest once they realize all the new characters are gated like this.

The real depression will set in when they realize everything they saved up for 4 years is now worthless and if they want anything new they have to spend crystals or wait several months...

Which they 100% are. They are farmable, just like almost all the other gear in game. Not sure what else you would want to call this.

They are available on a node that we can all get, i.e. - farmable. Nodes use energy which comes in free, i.e. - they are available without crystals....

Guys this is probably a good thing, it almost certainly means the new pieces are becoming more accessible. It's not like they'd remain exclusive forever. I'm guessing, but 99% certain those pieces will show up in the new stores, and from what I gather pretty much anyone should be able to get the currency. You don't even have to win the GAC battles you can just focus on feats if you're hopelessly outmatched.
