I don't play ships that often but this is the first time I've seen a red taunt. What's the difference between a red and a green taunt on enemy ships? The tool tip is the same for both. ...

Geonosian Spy's Starfighter Abilities
Enter Battle: Grant Taunt to target enemy and another random enemy without Taunt for 2 turns, which can't be Resisted.

Never used that ... but I think, taunt triggered by that is red to see that it's from opponent,
