- Absolute garbage. Battles take longer then they did which was the whole point of 3v3, to shorten it. Also rediculously nerfing some ships snd making us upgrade already maxxed ships is total monkeypoo.

What.
*Bistan, not Fives. Can you actually focus on the comment, or are you the generic internet troll that starts correcting typos and grammar once you've lost your argument?
Typo?
I went to look at Fives kit because I don't use it and thought maybe he has an attack that can't be evaded.
But I'm sure you're right, it's just all RNG and mine is always better than yours. Cool."Roopehun;c-1561172" wrote:

Well there's one problem right there, stop targeting the TF without using Vader or Poe's special. Just because they cut the dodge rate down doesn't mean you should just attack it willy-nilly now.
Obviously, when I have the chance, I use these. Also Fives. This doesnt change the very simple fact that I have better stats ships, better decisions than an AI, and yet the outcome isnt clear. Thats what rng means.
With the old system, I could win like 29/30 times, since I had better stat ships and better decisions than an AI. Now not. = more rng
Maybe, maybe your ships/shipchoice and your decisions aren't as great as you think they are.- Ship 2.0 is just bad.
- many ships are nerfed (for example the Tie Silencer hits for 40k? with advantage up...thats a blatant joke)
- buffed other ships to sell their ship packs (such behaviour is really cheating your paying customers who bought certain ships)
- 3v3 is pure rng, if 2 of your ships dont crit or you dont get a tl you will most likely loose from round 2 on. Lets assume your opponent has got a good team and equal ships power
- 3v3 feels not like fleet...feels bad when you start it, feels bad when you miss a shot and you never get a tl except with tie advanced/scimitar as its unresistable, or you dont crit unless you got advantage up
- biggs is no fun in 3v3
- capitals are not equally good, far from it...big thumbs down on this one (mace windu is a joke as capital now, even more joke than he is a mighty jedi master in arena)
+ upgrades are nice, just to nerf all before and than to let them upgrade is cheating on your customers "Perdogie;c-1561642" wrote:
I’m bummed that they (imo) ruined the Endurance. It’s already the least used capital ship and it’s the only one that had its ultimate completely reworked. It used to grant damage immunity for 1 turn + offense up, now it gives protection up and retribution? Its “ultimate” feels more like a reinforcement ability now.
I used to bounce in and out of top 100 with my once a day battle, but now I fight to stay in the top 300 using all 5 attempts. I hadn’t won a single fleet battle since the update until yesterday when I switched capital ships (G12 Thrawn, but ship is only 6*)
Indeed! It should be the fastest capital right at the start, as it basically has absolutely crappy cooldowns next to the shield up/taunt (aoe attack hits not hard and requires TL, standard weapon TL mostly doesnt work and its ultimate now gives retribution which doesnt at all fit to the ships you are running mace with - you need damage up). With just 3 ships starting this is a very big malus. This system is not tested.
Lets face it - 3v3 is no fun
Yes you can have many different strategies - but the KI plays totally stupid and thus will loose easily on a very clever maden mechanic thought
Try Biggs + Scimitar + TL ship and reinforce with Tie Advanced for damage down debuff on everyone + 3 dots
Capital Home One
The mechanic of this is basically give Biggs retribution and debuff everyone to do just 50% damage so Biggs will heal himself instead of dieing. But the KI will give the Tie the buff as soon the shield of Biggs dropped - so it will be totally wasted and nothing of the plan will work. The KI is simply not ready for an advanced fleet as they promote it.
So its just basically an assist train to get a rid of one ship right at the start and have a 3on2 - thats exactly what the genosian ship fleet offers and the KI simply does. KI uses at start its specials mostly (reference: Tie Silencer, lets not use stun lets use the fully unbuffed torpedo for 20k damage :dizzy: ). This we call ship 2.0 and lets not to forget to applaud.- I think what CG kinda missed is that gearing up and leveling a ship is worse than a toon cause you need to star up a ship + toon.
Then you need to actually gear up the toon to g12 to make a difference and most of the time, the toon in question is absolutely useless. Sun fac is useless in arena and in TW/TB. Unless you toss him into a worthless zone of trash.
Don’t see the point over investing in something where in a month’s time Boba will be useless too in ships arena cause they would have found a way to make slave1 redundant.
Silencer is a new ship and isn’t hitting as hard as before.
So gearing up ships is a bigger investment on the player and I beg to differ about RNG cause it’s gotten worse. No matter what certain people think @leef I’m far from being a noob at this game and I see ships being way more rng based than squad arena.
If I was actually fighting a real player in arena, I’d accept defeat willingly. Fighting an A.I that lands everything while your ships miss everything is a joke. Having my Biggs not tAunt when the AI taunts off the get go is a joke. Getting one of your ships blasted at the start and pretty much knowing there’s nothing you can do to win from there on isn’t fun.
I’ve see squad arena fights were you could be 2 vs 5 and pull off a win and lose fights you thought you had in the bag and it’s way more exciting.
Just saying, if 76% of the voters are seeing this going south, there must be something to consider. "JasFonz;c-1561797" wrote:

more RNG based than squad arena =/= Pure RNG
If you don't have a winpercentage of atleast 70% either your team sucks, or you suck, or both. I'm sure that the "good" players will have a way higher percertage than 70.- And the "bad" players blame RNG and can't handle change. The "good" players adjust.

If you care to read before writing, youll see that he never said fleet2 is pure rng. He said rng is a bigger factor, which is the same as the vote option too. Having more rng is bad. 70% is way too low if youre committed enough. Just imagine having a Traya trio team with better speed mods than everyone on your arena shard and yet you can only win 2/3 of the time. Thats happening with ships right now.
i suggest you do the same, reading before writing.
Also, do you really think your team is the fleet equivalent of the traya trio, including better speed mods? I know my fleet isn't and i'm winning more than 2/3 of the time.- @leef do you even consider other people’s opinions? I get the feeling you really like to be right now don’t you ;-)
It’s a pity you approach things with such certitude, you could give it a benefit of the doubt and consider that maybe the new 3v3 isn’t as well balanced as they intended it to be.
Just a little food for thought.
