Should I continue saving up Ally points

hmm.. I intended to put this in General Discussion. Oh well...

Burn through 20k and keep track of the drops, please.

Forgot where I read it and I'm just paraphrasing here: a developer commented that most players don't save them making it difficult to have an event as the currency to enter it. Personally I used to save them to 30k then spend 10k but now I'm going for 50k to spend 25k. I always like to have a reserve just in case.

I keep 20k around.

As far as drops there are plenty of documented drops of 50k+. I've done over 30k once back when I had the misimpression that CG/EA would ever add characters to bronzium. I think I got one purple and one 2 star character (86 or E. Scout). In total it is total crap.

In the female event you got more than enough coins in one day to max the refreshes without saving anything

I had over 20K saved and I realised there was only one thing I could possibly want from them - an Ahsoka pull to get another jedi for Yoda. So I burned through the, and I got just that. I now have zero incentive to spend them and am going for 100K for the giggles.

I also have about 30k saved but I do it for a different reason.

I normally do my 5 free daily ones. Then on those, if I pull a full toon or shard, I will go through between 3k-7k because I find they run in packs so to speak. I have gotten over 50 full toons this way. I am a day 1 player.

So yeah I'd save them. And when you pull a full toon, go through up to 7k, and without question you will pull at least 1 more full toon. Probably 2, but up to 5.

This is how I had pulled enough Talia to take her from 3* where I abandoned her, to less than 60 from a 7*.

Saying I've pulled 50 full toons this way is also an conservative estimate. I am 90% certain I've pulled more. But I'd rather estimate under than over in this instance.
