Should I invest in Rex or Zaul ?

Hi ! As the title says I'd like to invest in one of those so that when my zader team can no longer compete I'll be able to switch...
I'm top 10 in arena so this is to get 1st more consistently !
I run zader zidious boba Sunfac/shore and TFP.
Here is my roster : swgoh.gg/u/okonomiyakiparty
I'm 7/20 on my 3rd zeta. Both my Rex and maul are 5* and gear 8.
Oh, and my arena top 10 is usually 70% Zaul 30% Rex !

    Zaul is META now but won't be for long.

    I would say Rex because he will always be solid for top 10 teams while new characters will be created to counter Zaul.

    Just My Opinion.

    Off topic slightly but how do you find zSidious? Worth the Zeta?

    I'm running Maul and savage with zeta's and was thinking Sid for a third.

    If you are going to stick with Sith for a long time then i say yes why not do it. (helps for raids too)

    If you may potentially change your team, maybe hold off until there is someone you truly want to give it to.

    Zid is a beast and has saved me many times ! I use him with zader so it may be different with your zaul... Love all the dots that just never leave :)

    Yeah... The thing is I would feel made to have invest in 2 zeta and not using them... At least with maul I can use zidious and Vader... Also Rex users tend to use him with Kenobi, chaze, B2... I currently have none of those toons.

    Rex can be used in almost any team,

    I've seen all clone, Rex with Sun fac, Rey etc, Rex with STH and other random people. He doesn't have to be used with Kenobi and Chaze.

    But isn't it a shame ? You don't even need a synergy, you basically just put 4 uber toons and that's all... That's why I don't find Rex fair to play with or against ^^

    Rex seems like he will be useful in more situations, and for a longer time.

    Definitely Rex long term. I play fun things until the metas get stagnant then fall back on rex until the storm passes lol. He's not "phenomenal" against anything in particular but he's "acceptable" against nearly everything.
