Sith marauder...whats the point?

Just beat all the tiers for the marquee event for the guy and I’m just wondering in where he would really fit in? I mean his damage during the event seemed subpar, potency up seems kinda pointless under a palp lead, and he seemed a little squishy

I guess the idea is that he’d become a powerhouse from his unique when you start stacking debuffs but... the devs forgot that tenacity up and cleansing absolutely ruin debuff builds

Thoughts on possible uses for the new character?
