Slow non-tenacity Nest for new Rancor P1?

The boss seems to hit repeatedly before you get a turn. I imagine that's why Ahnaldt showed Rey Jawas getting 8 million damage So a slow Nest might be punishing, especially if tenacity isn't cruci...
