So just got into the game

Wish I knew about this game a long time ago but it is what it is. So far i fill thisbgane is very fair in getting energy, credits, and leveling up. I'm sure it will drop off quickly though. But my one and only complaint as a F2P person is the shards from missions being random. It sucks when your trying to get a character but you only get 1 shard or no shards before you do the max amount of missions. The game already slow you down with the energy consumption so why make them random or a pretty low chance? It's really the only thing kind of putting me off of the game. Besides that, the deals and what you buy are pretty fair as well, expensive but you do get a lot of stuff.

I guess my next question is how should I be leveling? Should I put time into my starting characters or save my credits and training droids for later? What can I do to make the grind a little more tolerable?

  • Alright thanks man, turns out I'm gonna have to wait tell thursday anyways. Hopefully 4 days wouldn't be too much a bigger hole lol
  • So when I get the hyperspace bundle, I was thinking of getting the journey guide mega packs. Which ones should I focus on? I was mainly going to spend my Crystal's on these because I only use 100 Crystal's a day for energy. Unless there is a better thing to use them for.

Unless you're planning on spending a LOT of money and crystals on the mega packs, I wouldn't recommend; they're inefficient. Buying from shipments and refreshing of energy is the way to go, as well as spending on gear.

If you want to dominate arena, pursue Darth Revan + Malak or Padme teams. Be absolutely sure to keep up on fleets as they provide additional crystals, which means you want to work on either Malevolence or Negotiator. You want the Hound's Tooth asap and, obviously, Bossk built up in order to optimize the ship.

I want to recommend pursuing either Resistance or First Order for the galactic legends, but that's going to be VERY expensive and have LOTS of requirements and investment into them. The same with GenAnakin. They're top tier, but seeing as how you're moreso starting out, I'd honestly say go full Padme and be sure to upkeep on ships.

Be won't have access to ships for a while..... And it's pretty hard to "keep up on ships" when you aren't farming pilots....

If he's buying the bundle, he'll have ships, no? And farming for Padme teams + Bossk means he'll be working on pilots... seems pretty straightforward to me.

Kind of just got upset. So I was in one of the beginner guilds, we were doing a raid and I was number one. When I completed some random quest and got promoted to the next guild. So now I won't get any of the rewards. Which sucks because I highly doubt I will be in the top 3 again. *sighs* oh well but kind of annoying.

I personally think searching for a guild by posting all your necessary information at the Forums is a super idea. As players have suggested, after you have gotten 1 7* character, I am pretty sure a good guild will find you super fast.
