This makes no sense. "Their words won't be held against them if the droids ever become meta dominant" For them to have this held against them they would have needed to already put out a statement that the droids would never be meta. Do you have a dev post that says that? They were covering themselves by setting an expectation that t3m4 is not the missing piece for a droid dominant meta, but that one may come in the future. Case in point between this dev post and the leak last year the hype grew and everything pointed towards Grievous being a meta dominant character.
