Sooo, what happens to the rest of the guild when you or others do these solo runs?
I'd be pretty peeved if one person was doing this.....
Easy. You don't quite finish your battle and leave a small yet to be done. You wait until the raid is completed. You know its completed due to the in game messages advising the raid is completed.
This method, while sound in principle, is unfortunately unreliable on long raid runs as HUD chat notifications are a little bugged and won't always pop until you are out of raid and chat has refreshed, leaving you to effectively fly blind. This was certainly so in my particular case, and alas reared its head on more than a few runs since. This is where Line (or your chat client of choice) comes to the fore.

why the title says without dengar? You replace who by dengar ?
Soloing a raid with Dengar, not to diminish the feat in any way, is the accepted norm for a long while now; many have done so and often. Properly used he allows your lower potency toons to land their TM down. With Dengar, a cursory potency kit out of your raid team will likely get you far, if not all the way. For those who either can't or won't farm potency mods, or those who just have bad RNG on drops, he's a great alternative.
Thus the thread title (along with flagrant epeening) was to highlight a full clear can certainly be achieved without Dengar, principally because it can be quite the slow burn to get him to 7* (I myself have not done so), especially if your focus is elsewhere in the guild shop.
