Soloed the T7 Raid (without Dengar)

I'm going to go ahead and assume I'm far from the first to manage this with this lineup, but ignoring for the present how ridiculous it is that one can solo the thing after a mod "rebalance", it was still a satisfyingly fist-pumping moment. Having said that, getting there was so tedious in function that to attempt to do this again will certainly be anything but satisfying.

Well, tedious save for the all-action P4 finale. Late innings batting collapse beginning with the loss of EE meant I lost toons left and right and it went down to the proverbial wire. Teebo, last man standing, out of stealth and on his last bit of TM, finally put the Rancor down with a clutch crit on his Bring Low. I'd like to think he leapt in there with a bellowed Ewok war-cry (or perhaps that was me). Was quite the nail biter. If it had been a movie, you'd have seen a bloodied Teebo jumping out of the path of the toppling Rancor in super slow motion, possibly with a furry commando roll. Just made it an all the more cheer-some moment (which I was sadly too caught up in to catch the climactic screenie).

Potency was:
Teebo - 94.96
QGJ - 104.5
Rex - 85.29
5's - 81.82 (Note: to make my life less TM strenuous, I have no omega on his basic)

  • Holy molly. Hats off for the 100th time! Love your screenshots man... I vote you for GoH MVP :)
  • 30 min goal to clear to P4 now accomplished and captured on link below. Suffered one hit from the Captain and none at all from P2 or P3 (one or two lucky escapes). Sadly, I am a novice at the video thing and lost the footage on P1 and part of 3, but the rest is pieced together (if you'll kindly excuse the odd bit of pausing).

Note this was done during a guild no damage phase, hence the retreat on P4.

EDIT: Phase 1 here (not the same run):

Love the variation, kudos to the instigator.

  • Apologies for the noobish question - but I've not yet really sat down and looked at raid strats. So my assumption is that all the TMR/Slow/Stealth prevents the Rancor from eating anyone? I'm sure that's also RNG based but I guess I just would like some clarification on how you get through that part of the raid without losing someone unable to be revived.

    Thanks in advance!
